I bought this MP3 on sale, brought it home and when i read the user guide, i knew i was in for some serious work unless i wanted to return it, i like a challenge. To charge this, you must wiggle the UBS where it plugs into the player. In and out until you see a battery icon with a green slide going up and down. Now your charging, user guide says usb connect message means it's charging...NOT EVEN!! Time your charge because i've never seen the slide stop like you would think when it's full. This player will NOT play during a charge and you must shut it down after a charge, slide the control to the right and hold for 3 seconds to turn it on and shut it off. It will say BYE BYE on the screen. Otherwise this unit loads fine, plays great and is easy to navigate around, also, i am 56 years old, never owned a MP3 player before and aint real tech savy. Just remember to use the user's guide as an idea of how the player works, the english is terrible.
